Why KV Kankarbagh Alumni Association

A Common platform to establish and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship between Alumni And Kendriya Vidyalaya Kankarbagh Patna

The KV Kankarbagh Alumni Association (KVKPAA) is a vibrant community of former students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kankarbagh, Patna. Built on the shared values and experiences of our school days, the association provides a common platform for alumni to stay connected, celebrate memories, and work collectively towards meaningful causes.

Our alumni network includes professionals, entrepreneurs, academics, artists, public servants, and leaders from diverse fields, united by their roots in KV Kankarbagh. We are committed to nurturing lifelong friendships, fostering collaboration, and giving back to both our alma mater and society at large.

We Are Proud Legacy Of KV Kankarbagh

KV Kankarbagh Patna is having legacy of KV Anisabad (Patna) which was established on 12 September 1966. The school shifted to present location during later part of 70s. Alumni located across India and abroad joined together and decided for coming “Back to School” in cordial, homely environment. To facilitate this, KV Kankarbagh Patna Alumni Association (KVKPAA) was formed by Alumni for Alumni in the Golden Jubilee year.

How We Operate & Serve

Purpose, Plans & Actions

Broad Aims & Objectives:

•To encourage lifelong engagement of alumni with their fellow alumni and School. •To provide a forum to establish a link and to strengthen the ties between the alumni, present students the Vidyalaya and Community •To extend support and assistance to Vidyalaya & all associated with Vidyalaya - the Students, ex-Students, Teachers, ex-Teachers, staff, ex-staff etc.

Working of Association (KVKPAA):

•Executive Committee (EC) - Governing Body for all activities/decisions of KVKPAA - Constituted from Registered Lifetime members. •Alumni Working Committee (WC) including Zonal WC– Exploring ideas and execution of alumni activities - Constituted by EC. •Guidance of Honorary Body / Patrons / Hall of fame

Activities:

•Coordination with alumni & teachers, data base of alumni & teachers. •IT infrastructure, Social media mgmt, Public relations & Communications. •Good health support, Alumni Recreation, Alumni Meets, etc. •Counselling Sessions, Medical Camps, Motivational speeches at School. •Support to School and Students – facilities, scholarships, etc. •Any other activities, as decided by alumni & KVKPPAA.

Regular / Annual (Rs 500 p.a. Financial Year wise):
- Joining Fee of Rs.1,000/- (inclusive of first year annual fee)
- Rs 500/- per annum subsequently
- Membership suspended, in case of non-payment of annual fees during FY. Readmitted after payment of joining fee
Lifetime : One time payment of Rs 10,000/- (Instalment option within same FY)
